About the Home

In October 2024, the homeowners of this detached property in Linlithgow reached out to us after speaking with a member of our marketing team. They were seeking a solution for their roof, which had been previously coated with a substandard product that had deteriorated over time.

Following our initial assessment, we identified the need for a minor repair to a few broken tiles before proceeding with the application of a high-performance protective coating.

This transformation not only improved the roof’s overall appearance but also ensured lasting protection, reinforcing the home's structural integrity.

Wash Stage

One of our technician teams lead by Elliot headed out for the first stage of this refurbishment. The wash process is a pivotal part of refurbishing our customers properties. We remove years of built-up moss and dirt from the properties roof as well as applying a biocide solution to eliminate future growth.

Coating Stage

Before the coating commences our Coating Technicians take the time to protect your home and the surrounding areas. Anything non-masonry related was masked and the ground area covered with protective sheeting. This included their neighbours surrounding area to ensure we did not damage one property through the process of transforming another.

Elliot and his team refurbished this home using our specialist airless spray equipment. This customer chose our Roofshield Pro Coating in the colour Terracotta. The rood was first primed before applying the before mentioned coating twice, this ensures the roof can withstand the harshest of weather as well as prolonging its life expectancy for over 15 years.

What did the customer say?

Mr. and Mrs. Aitken were highly satisfied with the final result and praised Elliot and his team for their professionalism. They noted that the team was polite, maintained a clean work environment by thoroughly tidying up after themselves, and took great care to protect the neighbouring property throughout the process.
